Dr. Cengiz Paşaoğlu Elected Vice President of EUROCONTROL Provisional Council

Dr. Cengiz Paşaoğlu, the President of SOCEA and Deputy Director General of DHMI, has been elected as the Vice President of the EUROCONTROL Provisional Council (PC).
The EUROCONTROL Provisional Council is one of the organization's key governing bodies, tasked with overseeing policy decisions and guiding the direction of air navigation services across its 41 Member States. The Vice President supports the President in managing council meetings and represents the collective interests of the Member States.
Dr. Paşaoğlu’s election highlights his involvement as well as DHMI's importance in aviation governance and international collaboration. In his role as President of SOCEA, he has focused on fostering regional cooperation among Air Navigation Service Providers in Europe and Asia.
His new role in EUROCONTROL strengthens Türkiye's role in international aviation and highlights the importance of effective cooperation in addressing the challenges in the region.
